core companies does not seem to visit RIT kottayam .

Internships offered are little low also some mayb without stipend  .Around 70%-75% students get placed in civil engineering deparment with highest package being 7 lakhs per annum and average package being 3.5-4 lakhs per annum.

Its faculty core curriculam,infrastructure are good.

RIT Kottayam has good campus and the environment of the college is good.The infrastructure of the college is well designed and well updated but the placement of civil engineering students at RIT Kottayam is not so good.No such good core companies visit the campus to recruit civil engineering.Mostly the civil engineering students starts their prepartion for government jobs or Start preparing for GATE.Almost 50-60% students gets placed from the department.

Though the placements of other branches like CSE and ECE are very good. Only 60% students were placed from Civil Engineering Department as core companies were less in number for campusing.
