There are companies hiring doctors for the development of new gadgets, like Apple has hired doctors for developing health care facilities in apple watch, phone etc.

Also there are companies which does the bussiness of both Tech & Medicine like Abbott.Doctors are hired usally for testing and produce more health care gadgets.

But, there is less chance of Doctors in purely software developing companies, they may be hired for medical staff of the company. Many companies doesn't follow such a practice, other than gadgets developers.
