see generally bachelor of arts is 3 years degree course program, there is many specialization like b.a in English, history, geography, psychology, fine arts etc. so you have to decide which of the stream you need to pursue. however in addition with the main stream syllabus there is extra language subjects is offered in some of the university. in some of the institute like christ university combination of three subjects is offered for b.a course. if you have taken combination subjects you have to study all the subjects and attempt the exams.
