Doing Mechanical Engineering from a good college will be a better option for you. See, College is not everything. Mechanical engineering is also a very good branch as compared to Computer Science and Engineering. it also has wide variety of scope and Mechanical Engineering will also fetch you with good Job opportunities.

Further, getting admitted to a good college has lots of benefits. You get to surround with good and Intelligent people, the surrounding is good and perfect, the academics structure is good, the facilities are good, and the opportunities are also available in good college as compared to some mediocre colleges.

Both of the CSE and Mechanical Branch is good. It depends on you now, which college you have to choose.
