VITEEE - Vellore Institute of Technology Entrance Exam is a similar exam like JEE, however, it is a similar exam with some varied changes in the structure. From a structural point of view, the exam will consist of 125 questions for which there will be a time limit of 2 hours and 30 minutes. In this exam there is no negative marking for wrong answers. The test is a computer based online test full of multiple choice questions.
The exam consists of 5 sections namely Physics, Chemistry, English, Aptitude and Mathematics/Biology. An individual who is appearing for Maths, Physics, English, Chemistry and Aptitude will be eligible for all engineering programmes. Any candidate appearing for Biology, Chemistry, Physics, English and Aptitude will be eligible for B. Tech Bio stream programmes only.

BITSAT - Birla Institute of Technology entrance exam is also another exam similar to the JEE exam. Candidates appearing for this exam will give a test for Chemistry, Physics, Maths/Biology, English proficiency and Logical Reasoning. BITSAT is a three hour exam wherein all the questions will be multiple choice questions (MCQs). There are a total of 150 questions which a candidate needs to answer. For every correct answer, 3 marks are given whereas for a wrong answer, 1 mark is deducted.
