see the two profession is totally different and you can achieve sucess in each of the occupation if you really interested in this. you need to crack neet exam to get admission in bds in any government or private  college in india, however to become drug inspector you need to graduate in B.pharma Or bsc or diploma in pharmacy  with specialization in Clinical Pharmacology/ Microbiology. however college matters a big role for your career, so along with degree specialization choose a reputed college.
