Dear Aspirant, due to postponement of Jee Mains and cancellation of 12th board exams yes the competition has increases as students  aspiring for JEE now just have to focus on JEE. Now the thing is there are going to be multiple papers in multiple slots and this percentile system is quite relative , like it depends how the pool of people in your slot perform and how do you do with respect to them. It means if you score 230 in one slot and one of your friend scores 250 in other slot, it might happen that you may get more percentile than your friend, because you did relatively well with pool of your slot. So , no one can give exact answer as to how to get 99.4+ percentile , but yeah scoring 220-230+ will help surely be on safer side. Also with such percentile and OBC Category you open up great options. You could check out these tools:

Hi

Yes, the competition may increase as  student have got more time due to postponement of examination and now students are utilising this time in making their weak areas strong.

Now,

It's quite difficult to make prediction as marks vs percentile keeps changing every year depending upon various factors like

  • number of students that appeared in the exam,

  • kind of marks obtained by them ,

  • toughness level of the examination for different shifts of the exam etc.

but yes , you need at least around 190 marks to get overall 99.4 percentile as per our predictor at

To have a personalised report on your chances of getting a college you can go through our college predictor, it will give you complete list of colleges which you can get on the basis of the category you belong to,  your home state, your gender etc, the link for  jee main college predictor is provided below
