The question should be what field in you interested for.
Its all about increase your skills and knowledge.
If you wanna go cse just dive into it. And explore your field like you didn't get food  for 7 days and still searching, without it you cannot live.
So just be your own motivation.
The path will direct you where you wanna go.

Both are different branches of engineering and the cutoff depends upon the colleges you want to take admission as it is different for all branches. There are certain subject similarities in both like C Programming, data structures, computer networks etc.

ECE is about electronics and how the different electrical components (Microprocessor, RAM etc) communicate with each other. It has more Physics in it. There is a little programming involved but not much.

CSE on the other hand deals with telling these components what to do and when to do it; by programming them. It has a lot of logic involved and Maths too.

ECE has more scope in government bodies than CSE and the scope of CSE in private sectors is good. The packages for both are good depends on which organisation you get placed in.

So both have a good scope but you have to decide what task you are more interested in as per the above differentiation.
