Akhilesh for availing the benefits of 10% reservation under economical weaker section in general category you need certain documents as follows:  

1. Your annual salary should be less than Rs. 8 lakh 

2. You should have less than 5 acres of land. 

3. You need to produce income certificate regarding the list  mentioned above for furnishing iIncome Tax Return. 

4. You need to produce caste card mentioning that you belong to general category . 

5. You need to produce Below Poverty Line card to show that your salary is less than 8 lakh and you possess land less than 5 acres. 

6. PAN card is mandatory . 

7. Aadhaar card is essential. 

8. Bank passbook is required. 

9. Applicant should obtain certificate from an officer who should not be below the rank of a tehsildar of the concerned area. 

10. Candidate will not be able to avail benefit also if he/she has residential flat of 1,000 sq feet or above ; residential plot of 100 sq yards or above in notified municipalities ; residential plot of 200 sq yards or above in some other area than the notified municipalities.

Eligibility to get EWS Certificate

1.       You should be a General Candidate.

2.       Family Income should be less than 8 lakhs per annum.

·         Aadhaar Card (mandatory)

How to Apply for EWS Certificate?

No online method has been implemented yet to apply for the EWS Reservation. To apply for this certification you will have to adopt the offline method in any of the two ways below:-

1.       You can contact your Local Govt. Authority (Tehsil). However, it may take a lot of time.

2.       You can contact an Agent in Jan Sewa Kendra (CSC) nearby your location. In this way, your work will be done faster, because of their good link in Tehsil.

I will suggest you contact an Agent. If you go to your local Common Service Center (CSC) and ask for the agent, then it will be better and you will get the certificate soon.

·         You can go to Google search and find your nearest CSC.

·         Go there and submit your required documents.

·         They will fill the form and do the entire work for you.

·         After that, wait for a month and you will get your EWS Certificate.
