Institute of Chartered Accountants of India (ICAI) prescribes the eligibility criteria of CA Foundation course. Here , the eligibility criteria :

• Candidates who are appearing for the class 12th or qualified the class 12th register for CA foundation course.
• ICAI doesn't set any age limit for this course.

Candidates with a minimum of 55% overall in their commerce undergraduate or graduate degrees are also eligible to apply for the CA Intermediate programme. Candidates with a minimum of 60% overall and a graduate or postgraduate degree in any other field (other from commerce) may also register for the CA foundation course.
