Hello aspirant,

KEAM includes a centralized admission process (CAP counseling) for UG medical, agriculture, forestry, veterinary, fisheries, and architecture courses, as well as an entrance exam for UG engineering and pharmacy admission. Aspirants for BTech and BPharm programs must take the KEAM entrance exam, whereas other candidates register for KEAM and then go straight to KEAM counseling.

In Kerala, undergraduate admissions to professional courses are primarily conducted through entrance examinations. The Kerala Engineering Architecture Medical (KEAM) exam, organized by the Office of the Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), is essential for candidates seeking admission to engineering, architecture, and medical programs. KEAM 2025 applications are currently open, with the deadline set for March 10, 2025, at 5 PM.

Additionally, the Central University of Kerala admits students to its undergraduate programs through the Common University Entrance Test (CUET).

Prospective students should regularly consult the official websites of the respective universities and examination authorities for the most up-to-date information on application procedures and deadlines.

For undergraduate (UG) courses in Kerala, the primary entrance exam is the Kerala Engineering/Architecture/Medical Entrance Examination (KEAM), which is used for admission into engineering, architecture, pharmacy, and medical courses across various colleges in the state; most other UG programs may use merit based on the 12th grade marks alone.

About KEAM:

Conducting body: Commissioner for Entrance Examinations (CEE), Kerala

Courses covered: BTech, BArch, BPharm, MBBS, BDS, BAMS, BSMS, BHMS, BUnMS

Eligibility: Candidates who have passed the Kerala Higher Secondary Examination or equivalent with required subject combinations and minimum marks.

GOOD LUCK!!
