Hello Chaitanya ,

Yes , you need to pay the fees to confirm your seat in the IIM . The stipend is when you get hired for the summer internship programme. It depends upon the company that hires you and your rank.

Yes fees are compulsory for all candidates irrespective of any entrance exam.
CAT registration fees are different.
