Under Rajasthan EWS Criteria, a candidate whose family's annual income from all sources is less than 8 lakhs per annum is eligible for EWS reservation. But Central Government has an additional criteria that a candidate whose family owns atleast 5 acres of agricultural land and less or a residential flat of 1,000 sq.ft and less or a residential plot of 100 sq yards and above will be included from being identified as EWS Candidate. And Rajasthan Government excludes these Candidates from EWS category. While filling NEET application form, please select EWS as your Category if you have EWS Category certificate. But if you do not have the certificate, you will have to fill the Category as General Category because it is the State Government's administration that gives you the relevant document.
