Nerve - Bundle of axons (white matter) outside the CNS

Tract - Bundle of axons (white matter) within the  CNS (these run supero-inferiorly as ascending tracts or infero-superiorly tracts)

Ganglion - Collection of cell bodies (grey matter) outside the CNS

Nuclei - Collection of cell bodies (grey matter) inside the CNS
