The question of the NEET exam is based on NCERT books only few questions will be asked from the outside of the NCERT books. 

So, go through with the NCERT books and move to the others books for more practice.

Also, solve the practice papers and last years question papers.

Exam will not be purely based on the NCERT but most of the questions will be directly from the NCERT because from this year onwards National testing agency is organising need and the same body is also organising JEE MAIN so this year they reduce the difficult level slightly and put more questions from NCERT there for you can expect the similar thing in the NEET exam also there for more give attention to NCERT books but if you want to score more then you should go beyond that.

NEET Exam is completely based on NCERT patterns, almost 80% questions are directly asked from the content of NCERT books and few questions are somewhat twisted(from NCERT syllabus only) so for those few tricked questions you need to refer some different materials like coaching notes, modules etc.
