Hello Smita See you really need to mention your category because it depends a lot on it. But, if you are from the general category, it is really hard for you to get admission into the NITs or IIITs through JEE Mains.You should try for some private colleges.

if you are general and you are getting 84 marks you had not qualified JEE mains exam
if you are OBC and you are getting 84 marks you had just qualified the exam
if you are SC and you are getting 84 marks you had qualified the exam as well as you might get some NIT college
if you are ST and you are getting 84 marks you had qualified JEE and you will get a good college.

Firstly the cutoff is needed to predict the college that you might get. If you qualify then you will be giving jee advanced. But if you dont you will have to go for the counselling of jee mains and you can know your rank by :
