Experts, please guide me in preference form filling? I'm very confused about this matter

Hello!

The preference form should be filled based on your score.

You need to figure out from last year's cut off marks and ranks which college you might get. Based on the list of colleges that you think you will get, fill the form. Start with the best college in your list of colleges (that is, the best college that you can get) and then fill it in a decreasing order (of preference).

Thank you expert for anwering , i just want a clarification that should i put a college which is no where near to my rank as my first preference and then go towards college according to my rank ?
