Deemed universities are similar private universities. Not many deemed universities would be recognized for your placements. Deemed universities will be more costlier than private institutions. For Example VIT(Vellore Institute of technology, SRM) these are deemed universities and private institutions are like Vel Tech Multi Tech etc. Whereas there is an another set of institutions, they are government colleges and government affiliated collages they are more recognized than deemed.
