Hello aspirant,

Angle of dip is also called as magnetic dip and is defined as the angle that is made by the earth's magnetic field lines with the horizontal. The angle of dip is equal to 45 degree when the horizontal component and the vertical component of the earth's magnetic field are equal.

Angle of declination is the angle in the vertical plane aligned with magnetic north between the magnetic field and the horizontal.

Hope, this answer helps you.
