Hello dear student,

There are total 4 steps to this :

  • Step 1: Replication Fork Formation. Before DNA can be replicated, the double strands of dna must be “unzipped” into two single strands that means they should be separated from each other other then future process can occur .
  • Step 2: Primer Binding. The leading strand is the simplest to replicate.
  • Step 3: Elongation.
  • Step 4: Termination.
