The Quality Council of India (QCI) was established as the national accreditation body for professional equipment recommendations in the European Union after consultation with the Council of Ministers, the Writing Committee and the Ministerial Committee in 1996. existence in 1997 by a Cabinet decision as a non-profit organization.
