There are only 5 government veterinary colleges in Tamil Nadu, which do not have management quota seats. Here is the list of colleges with their seat division. The fee is around INR 21,000 per annum-

1. Madras Veterinary College, Chennai- 120 seats out of which 102 seats are for state quota and 18 seats for All India Quota

2. Veterinary College and Research Institute, Namakkal- 80 seats out of which 68 are for state quota and remaining are for All India Quota

3. Veterinary College and Research Institute, Thirunelveli- 80 seats out of which 68 are for state quota and remaining are for All India Quota

4.  Veterinary College and Research Institute, Orathanadu-   80 seats out of which 68 are for state quota and remaining are for All India Quota

5.  Veterinary College and Research Institute, Salem- 40 seats
