Looking at the second equation I can assume that the easiest value starting from 1 for which it is easy to do x/2 is 4.If x is 4 then 36x/2 has to be 9. Now 9 - what will give 7? The answer is 2 (or 261). Hence X is four while Y is one. To confirm this putting X and Y as 4 and 1 in the first equation satisfies the condition.
