Hi Candidate,

The expression for Energy in terms of frequency (v) is given by E = hv. The expression for Energy in terms of wavelength ($) is given by E = hc/$.

Here h stands for plank's constant and the value of h is 6.63*10^(-34), c stands for speed of light and the value is 3*10^(8). Now as E= hv = hc/$, so the value of energy is E= hv= 6.63*10^(-34) *2*10^(9)= 13.26* 10^(-25) Joules.

Hope that this answer helps you!!

Energy of photon is given by the formula hv where h is the Planck's constant and v is the wave frequency.

h =6.626 069×10−34. J·s eV·s

v= 2×10^9/s (given)

Using these values, we get that energy of photon is = 13.252 ×10−25. J·s eV·

Here the information of wavelength of light is just not required
