In Chennai, 5 college provide Automobile engineering. They are:

1. MIT Campus
2. Sri Venkateshwara college
3. Velammal college
4. Eashwari college
5. KCG college.

In which the top college is best as it a part of Anna University. But, the cutoff for this college is very high.

The remaining 4 colleges are private in which first three are autonomous colleges and K.C.G college is only affiliated to Anna University.

As there are only 4 colleges, all the college provide decent education and placements for Automobile engineering. So, you can select any one of these. But, keep KCG college the least preference one. Prefer for the autonomous colleges first, then prefer KCG college.
