JEE Main paper 1 is for the admission in B.Tech and paper 2 is for the admission in b.arch.
So you get admission in good architecture college if you score high in architecture college.

Yes jEE mains is sufficient to get good Colleges in IITs and nits. To get top IITS the person should get below 1000 rank .

If you get below 5000 rank you will get good nit as per previous years survey.for this you should need to score more than 300+ because this year the number of applicants are increased and competition is more .The level question paper also may be high.
