Nursing in Maharashtra is divided into 2 types basic and post basic. In Basic, the criteria are 10 and 12th marks. For the post, basic Bsc Nursing the criteria is a certification in General Nursing and Midwifery and registered as R.N.R.M (Registered Nurse Registered Midwife) with the State Nurses Registration Council. If you are planning to do this course in AIIMS or in some other government medical college you are required to write Bsc Nursing admission test. If you are planning to get in PPMET you have to write the paramedical entrance test for Bsc Nursing
