Since CMC Vellore is the 2nd best medical college according to India Today survey 2016, so to get into it, you really need to score very high marks or rather I should say a very descent rankAtleast in the top 100.For that you should get 630640(atleast)The competiotion is really highDont bother about the number of seats..Just give your best shot.

Good luck!

Hello Rohith,

Greetings!

Christian Medical College, one of the most prestigious colleges in medical field, identifies the suitable candidates on the basis of a merit list prepared by DME, Tamil Nadu. The foundation of this merit list is the scores obtained in NEET examination. The candidates, whose names appear in the merit list will be eligible to participate in the seat allotment and counselling process of CMC. This process of seat allotment and counselling will be handled in an offline mode.

Following the trend and pattern of the cut off shown in 2017 and 2018, the cut off scores for 2019 are expected to be:

Categories       Minimum required percentile  Approx Score

1 General (UR)              50th Percentile                690-470

2 SC/ST/OBC                40th Percentile                470-350

3 UR PwD                      45th Percentile                470-210

Actual Cut off for 2018 as per MCI regulations:

UR PwD                      40th Percentile                118-96

Further, for CMC, the seat distribution is as follows:
