Dear Ashish,

No, it's not really necessary to start coaching and it depends totally on you. But you should start self study from now only as the competition is increasing day by day.  It's your choice to join coaching or not.

You can avoid joining coaching institute in class 9th but you should not ignore any chapter/topic of physics chemistry and math as class 9th is the base of class 11th so study like you start preparing for jee from now that'll help you alot.
Don't waste time on social media too much.
