For any Engineering course, PCM is sufficient and you dont need any other subjects as compulsive.

English and one more language is considered mandatory to calculate Best of Five score.

PCM is must for all exams like Jee Main, Jee Advanced, NATA, MHCET for all Engineering Specialization like Mechanical and Software.

If you're from diploma background, You can take subjects which are relevant to the stream you want to pursue.
