Hi, Aadya what is necessary is not solving previous year ques or the ncert textbook..the thing which is most important is solving new ques on more or less JEE main level ques...to solve the ques bank which institites makes before the exams...which they generally call as score papers...this is something which will boost your confidence..All ThE Best
