To get admissions for Computer Science Engineering in an NIT you need a score around 180 in JEE Mains.Computer Science is the most sort after stream due to its high percentage of placements and mouth watering salaries.But to get a better picture you can always look the previous year cut offs from the Joint Seat Allocation or Josa site for various NITs.And your home state NIT you would have home state reservation lowering the cut-off ranks.Anyways a score of 180 plus is a safe zone.Hope I was able to help.Please do ask questions in Careers360 .

For getting a Nit seat you need extra hard work for getting in Top  Nits like NIT SURATHKAL,NIT TRICHY,NIT WARANGAL etc.But you can get a  quite benefit of category as you need to score less marks .generally marks above 150 are considered as good score in Jee and in terms of percentile you must score above 97 percentile to get  Cs branch in good nit.
