Both the colleges are very good ,
Pondicherry engineering college have the nirf rank 122 ,
Where as RV engineering college is at 70 in the nirf list .
ECE branch is also very good in both the colleges as both the colleges are 40-60 years old and have a great reputation, but if you see the complete detailed analysis and comparison of both the colleges , you'll find that RV COLLEGE OF ENGINEERING, Bangalore is a bit better than Pondicherry engineering college.

both the colleges are very good . however pondicherry college is ranked  122 by NIRF while RV college is ranked 70 by NIRF but for EC branch , according to alumni reviews , pondicherry college is better than RV college . top companies like amazon , aricent come here for placement  and average package is 6-7 lpa while highrst is around 14 - 15 lpa EC. campus is alslo great and faculties are also graet .

RV college is also very good but in that college , placement are best for CSE and IT but not too good compartively in EC .

so i prefer Pondicherry college
