Hi Bharath,

Yes, Under Graduate student can write exam. Generally under graduate means bachelor's degree taken by student and offered by recognised university.

Eligibility criteria for GATE :

a candidate should have Bachelor's degree in engineering/ Technology ( 4 years after 12th or 3 years after B.Sc/ Deploma in engineering/ Technology) and those who are in final year of these program.
