Yes, now there will be only one entrance exam called National Eligibility Cum Entrance Test (NEET) for admission to all medical colleges.
Even colleges like AIIMS and JIPMER have been included now and qualifying this exam is must for admission.
You need not take any other entrance, you just need to fill separate counselling forms after exam for All India Counselling, State Counselling and for JIPMER, AIIMS and AFMC.

Dear Vijetha, AIIMS and JIPMER are autonomous Medical Institutions. They do not come under NTA's jurisdiction. And with NMC bill being put forth for Cabinet's approval, it says NEET PG will b scrapped off but AIIMS, NEET SS and other enyrance examinations will continue. If AIIMS PG is likely to continue, so will AIIMS MBBS and JIPMER MBBS.

I also heard the same news from somewhere but this is not official for atleast the year 2020. Because , if these changes would be done for year 2020 , then an official update must be there till now. And there is no such official update . So , there will be separate AIIMS MBBS exam for the year 2020 as always. It is not going to merge with NEET exam very soon.
