Residence certificate is to proof from which state you belongs to you can get this certificate please visit near by meeseva they will do all the process and with a week you will get your certificate or visit any mro office there they can help you out how to apply for residence certificate in helpdisk you need to submit required documents ones you visit them they will explain you clearly after uploading all documents online then you get certificate in a week

I have residence certificate present now . but there is no mention about 10 years in that residence certificate.

You can get the certificate from meeseva centers. Go to the nearest meeseva center and they will let you know all the details regarding your query.
