From where mean which topic to start IIT JAM Physics preparation?

Hello,

Syllabus for Physics for IIT-JAM:-

  1. mathematical methods
  2. Mechanics and general properties of matter
  3. Oscillation , waves and optics
  4. electricity and magnetism
  5. Kinetic theory and thermodynamics
  6. Modern physics
  7. Solid state physics, device and electronics

You can start in your way of approach. Go for easy chapters. Make notes while studying. solve numericals. Understand steps. while solving any numerical make sure you remember the condition. for different condition, different formula and principle is used.  Make note of it.

progress to hard topics. cover those 2-3 times. solve more numericals. appear chapter wise mock test for hard chapters. Follow RD Sharma SL Arora for basic concepts.

for theory part like theorem, rules and principles, make flow chart and read it in your free time. read it multiple time so that you can remember the flow.
