It may take longer if you're a complete novice to programming.  if you are a complete beginner then you should learn some basics on You tube or some online learning platform . Otherwise you can also start learn it from a famous website like w3schools, geeksforgeeks etc.  you can solve queries in website like Hackerrank which will eventually increase your SQL skill.

Start with the fundamentals. Create a database, link it to your website, and read and write data to it. You can eventually progress to more sophisticated abilities such as database speed optimization.
