Hello,


No, you will not face any issue in any kind of interview in future if you change your diploma branch in B.tech.Infact lots of students do change their branch.Once you will complete you B.tech with  CSE after  getting admission through lateral entry, you will be a CSE graduate and nobody will care  much about  your diploma degree but yes it should be valid :)
