The qualified candidates of the post-graduation engineering entrance exam must know that there is no common counselling for GATE 2018.Candidates will have to apply for admission in M.Tech programmes through separate counselling conducted for GATE by institutes like IITs, NITs, IISc Bangalore, GFTIs and others.Institutes like IITs will conduct GATE 2018 counselling through Common Offer Acceptance Portal (COAP).Candidates have to register to the respective IIT's and departments, they want admission into and on COAP too.It is important to register at both places otherwise candidate's registration will not be considered.However, institutes like NITs, GFTIs and IIITs will conduct the GATE counselling 2018 through Centralised Counselling for M.Tech (CCMT).The counselling of GATE 2018 will also be conducted by some States for admission to M.Tech programmes in their respective government and private engineering institutions.
