With such a score in GATE you can get admission in one of the new NITs. You can also try for  the old IITs but the chances of getting admission is quite low. It also depends on luck. If you clear the test as well as the interview, you can find yourself in a good position in these places.

Your marks and score are good.As per the previous year cutoffs you can get good NITs such as NIT Warangal, NIT Trichy, NIT Surathkal,etc but the chance is less of getting higher ranked old IITs so you may have to compromise with some medium ranked IITs.You can check for Colleges on Careers360 Gate college Predictor.
