There are a total of 22 boys hostel and 6 girls hostel here in NIT TRICHY. They accommodate around 5797 students of various undergeaduate and postgraduate program. It's ranked 34 as an University. The infrastructure is decent enough and the warden takes care of each hostel. The hostels have their own libraries and properly structured convenient rooms
