For the first chapter which is the rise of nationalism in Europe, you must focus on the topics like the French revolution, emergence of nationalism in Europe, liberalism vs conservatism, the making of Germany and Italy, the romantic imagination and visualizing the nation, and the connection between nationalism and imperialisms. you must also focus on topics  like Frederic Sorrieu and Giuseppe Mazzini, and significant events like the Age of Revolutions 1830-1848 and the Napoleonic Code.
