Hi karlapati

Glucose and sucrose insoluble in water as they have five and eight -OH groups respectively due to which they form strong hydrogen bonds with molecules of water and thus they are soluble in water .

Whereas ,cyclohexane and benzene , don't contain OH group and so the dipole developed in them is very weak in nature and due to this the hydrogen bond formed is not strong. So these are not soluble in water .

I hope that you find the helpful

Thankyou
