In B. Tech we need a good percentage since each and every company would like to have some minimum criteria and if you cannot satisfy their eligibility criteria then there is no other option to get into that company through drives. And ya some of the jobs with higher packages would definitely ask you more percentage since they want to test each and every skill and the position which might be given is a good one.  So,  we need to have atleast basic percentage and then as it improves the opportunities may also increase.
