The college has  a government ownership, and is accredited by NAAC, the college has an autonomous approval and was established in the year 1974, the college offers various courses including MCom course such as BCom self finance, BA, BCom, BSC Zoology, botany and chemistry self finance, BA self finance, MCom Self finance, Bcom hons self finance, BBA self finance, BMS self finance  etc.
