Hello,

all IIT campuses are government institutes only. No IIT is a private or semi private institute. If you want to study there then you have to qualify jee advance with a rank below 3-4K. If you secure it then you will get an admission at any campus of IIT across India.

But to appear jee advance , you have to appear jee main and have to qualify with good mark and rank. Atleast below 10K then only you will be eligible to appear jee advance.

Both the exams are toughtest exam in India and the only to make it easy is practice in concepts and practice in lots of numericals  and strong in basics and concepts.
