It seems like you are interested in getting into a Government Polytechnic institute. Here is the list of steps you have to follow. Polytechnic is also known as Diploma course. 

1. For getting admission on the basis of 10th, you have to clear the JET (JOINT ENTRANCE TEST) of your state.

2. Or you have to go for POLYCET and according to the marks secured in the examination, you will get the allotment of seat.

3. If you pass in the entrance tests then you can seat for counselling. In counselling, you will get to choose your favorite college.
