Hello Dipakkumar. Yes grace marks are counted by the gujrat board but only under severe circumstances. If the grace marks are given by the university, only then they can be counted in by the board. 

For instance, if a student has appeared for 2nd year mbbs exams and during evaluation it was noted that, he has scored minimum passing marks in first 3 subjects, and he has got minimum 55 marks in other subject out of 120. So here the student is falling short of 5 marks which will be given as grace to him.
