SRU appreciated the need for capable Health Care administrators who can alleviate the administrative burden of the doctors and help enhance the service potentials of the Hospital and came up with the idea of starting Sri Ramachandra College of Management, a constituent college of Sri Ramachandra University in the year 2001 . 

The undergraduate degree BBA Hospital and Health Systems Management Is provided in Sri Ramachandra Institute of Higher Education and Research, Chennai, Tamil Nadu. The total fees for this course are around 1.5 lakhs to 2 lakhs. There are limited seats in this course around 30.

This is a full-time course and falls under the category of honors program.

For eligibility, One needs to have passed his/her high school with subjects such as

1.       Commerce, Accountancy, Business Maths and Economics or

2.       Commerce, Accountancy, Business Maths and Computer Science or

3.       Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology), Mathematics or

4.       Physics, Chemistry, Biology (Botany & Zoology), Computer Science

One can have any of the above-mentioned combinations. One compulsory criterion is that the student should have studied English as one of the core subjects.
